Snow's Gone!

Whew, what a week, it's been 8 days since the snow came. There's still snow outside but most of the yard is clear and I can walk around now, what a relief! Aunt Cyndee and her entourage went home. Life is getting back to normal. So let me tell you more about my sister Margaret Lee ( Maggie )

I would chase her around the house, and then she would stop, opps! OK! She would chase ME around the house. This made Mom laugh all the time. She would tell Dad when he got home from work, he would tell us to be nice to each other, and then he would laugh and play with us, tell us how much he missed us during the day. He always puts me on the bed and wrestles with me when he comes home, of course Maggie would jump up and get in the mix too!

Maggie with MY FROG!
Our first Christmas, my Aunt Cyndee gave me a little frog, it was just my size and it squeaked too! Do you know what Maggie did? She got it and wouldn’t let me have it! Santa had given her a catnip mouse, that’s what Mom called it, I thought it smelled funny. Mom put the mouse in Maggie’s gift box, Mom gave Maggie a gift box with tissue paper in it for Christmas, she said Maggie loves to get in boxes with tissue paper. Well, Maggie came and got my frog. I got so upset and told Mom what she had done, with a lot of barking,  and I wanted my toy back! Mom went right under the tree and got the mouse, gave it to Maggie and got my frog back. I loved that little frog, but when Mom went back to the kitchen to fix breakfast, Maggie stole it again, that was the beginning of another chase around the house that made Mom and Dad laugh.

I got my frog back!

I have a secret
There's more story's about Maggie that I'll tell you later. If your wondering why I am telling you about Maggie in the past tense it's because Maggie went to heaven to be with my Grandma. Mom thought I should let you know. It was very confusing when she left, I missed her and kept looking for her under the bed but she wasn't there. I was sad and lonely for a long time. Mom said if we stay busy it would take our minds off our sadness soooo....

I told Mom I have a secret.
I told her I wanted to write a book.
She said we would start with a blog.
And here we are.

SNOW!

Yeesh! What a week! Sunday my Aunt Cyndee and her dog and cat moved in downstairs because we were expecting a snow storm. We got snow, snow is everywhere! Monday, Mom took me for a walk and I disappeared in the snow! Mom had to rescue me! Then Mom made me my own little yard, just my size! It has pine straw all over. Aunt Cyndee cleared some of the back yard for her dog, they have their own entrance down there, good thing too because the ice makes it hard to get around.
Day 4- Cabin fever sets in, Mom bakes a cake! She doesn’t really like cake and wouldn’t let me have any either! I want to play with the cat downstairs but Mom won’t let me because it has claws. Is it spring yet?
More to follow….

My New Home, meet my new sister, The Cat!

When I got to my new home in Georgia, there was a cat! She was bigger than me. And do you know what the first thing she did when Mom gave me to her, yep, my Mom gave ME to the cat, can you believe it? Maggie, that was the cat’s name, she came right behind me and swatted my fluffy tail, it scared me, I didn’t know what to think, and I ran to my Mom, who wasn’t far away. She just laughed and said that Maggie just wanted to make friends, that she was my new sister. So she put me back on the floor and told Maggie to come over. We smelled each other, which was the beginning of our friendship.

See how big she is!

Soon Maggie and I were sisters and best friends.
Maggie and I love to help Mom
Maggie had a jungle gym that had mice hanging from it; I loved to pull the mouse on the outside of it. Maggie never played with it anyway; she just loved to grab my tail when I was playing with it.

I think I can, I think I can, I thnk I can!

This is me, Madison, the Pomahuahua, tomorrow I'll tell you about the CAT!

I love to get dressed up and Mom is always buying me new clothes

Me playing dress-up

I like to go everywhere Mom and Dad go too. I want the three of us to be
together all the time. Believe me, I make it known, that I don’t like it if one of     them has to leave. Mom calls it, “Abandonment Issues” and just lets me bark. I still don’t like trash bags either, from when I was thrown away; I also make that known, every time Mom throws out the trash too, she just ignores me.

I have my own dish in the car too!

More about Me

My Playpen
When my Mom and Dad adopted me, my mom had everything for me when I got to my new home. She had bought me a playpen because I was so tiny she thought she might step on me when she was busy cleaning house or something, little did she know how fast these tiny little feet can move.

She even bought a stroller so we can go on walks together. I do a lot in my stroller; I help in the yard mostly.

Welcome Madison Georgia

Hi, my name is Madison Georgia, I’m a cute reddish blonde, about 6 lbs., 10 inches tall with a fluffy tail, I’m a Pomahuahua ( Pom-a-waa-waa ), half Pomeranian, half Chihuahua. I’m 4 years old. When I was about a year old I was found behind a dumpster in Madison, Georgia, yup, that’s how I got my name. I have a lot of allergies and my parents threw me away, literally. It was a very cold and dangerous place but a kind lady convinced me that she wouldn’t hurt me; I decided I needed something to eat and to get warm so I went with her. I was in a nice home with my foster parents. They took me everywhere with them but I knew I wasn’t there to stay. Then one day when I had been in the car for a very long time, they stopped and mister took me for a walk. While we were walking around I met a couple of people that I really liked. The new lady somehow knew I needed her and she needed me. She thought I was so pretty she put me right in her coat, it was still winter. A couple of weeks later that same couple I met on the road came to get me, now I have real parents that love me very much. My Mom loves to dress me up and show me off. She even took me to a dog show where I won 1st Place and then I won Best In Show, the Championship. Mom took lots of pictures of me in my big silver bowl. Here's the picture.
