Going for a Test Drive?!!!

 Yesterday me and Mom took Dad's truck in to have it serviced at Landers McLarty Nissan in Huntsville, AL. I had so much fun, everybody liked me. We got there so early it wasn't even open yet so we walked around and looked at new cars and trucks, boy, oh boy, there were so many.

 Soon the service drive, that's what they call the area where you drive you car into, well, it opened up it's big doors and we drove in, it was a really big place and very clean too, I like clean! I helped Danny, he's the attendant there, get all the right information so that he would know what Dad wanted done. Then we went to the waiting area and watched TV for a few minutes, I ate a bone and had some water, met some more people and then it was time to go for a test drive, oh, boy, I like new cars.

We were too early, none of the car salesman were there yet, so we waited in the showroom and watched a little more TV.

Soon I met another nice person his name was Dalton, he took Mom and me to see a new truck, we picked out a 2011 Blue Titan.

 We rode around in a golf cart to go see the new truck, that was fun, I have never been in a golf cart before, it's not like a car or truck, it's real quite.

 After we went for the test drive, Mom and I went to get our truck from the service department, there I met another nice person, Mom called her the cashier, that's a person you pay.

It had been a long day for me, so Mom took me home for a nap.

I Did It Again!

Oh, who is that?

 OK, Mom, we got our package, let's get this show on the road, " Where is MY DADDY?"

I did it! I won First Place!



I'm so happy, I make Mom and Dad so proud!

I tried to win Best In Show, but a darn big ol' golden retriever puppy won. Don't get me wrong, I'm a good sport, it's just I wanted that crystal bowl. Mom and Dad said I will always be their champion and they love me with or without ribbons, aww, geee, I'm so loved, Life Is Good!

Spring Has Sprung

Busy as Bees! That's what Mom and I have been!

We have been working in the garden.

I help move plants around

Sometimes I just lay around and watch Mom work from the wagon

We have been cleaning the house

Mom thought this was funny, I didn't! I'm allergic to dust!

But we have been getting ready for this weekend, it's Relay for Life, Prance Your Paws For A Cause Dog Show. Mom put my name on my stroller.

And she had been making me practice walking around in this hat! My Daddy got his MBA last year and Mom got me my own cap and gown, that's what I'm wearing for my best dressed outfit

I walk around and she gives me bones, then I pretend I'm gonna shake it off and she'll give me another bone if it stays on, I got my Mom wrapped around my little paw.

A Blustery Day

It’s a blustery day here at the Space Center. It’s 69 degrees and cloudy. Mom and I sat outside for a while.

 Then we feed the birds some bread. Now the new counselor’s for this summer are training at Space Challenge. That’s where the kids get to shoot off the rockets they made at Space Camp. They have to learn how to be safe when they’re shooting off the rockets so that all the kids that come to Space Camp will be safe too! I had fun today!

One month till Dog Show

It's 4 weeks until the Prance Your Paws For A Cause Dog Show. Mom and Dad are having a problem deciding which of my pictures to put in the Most Photogentic contest. Traveling around the USA

Pant! Pant! Pant! I have put my mark in 3 states in the last week, lots of times too! I went to Charleston, South Carolina and saw my Granddaddy and my Aunt Lee and Uncle Jerry and my Grandma too! I had so much fun at Bennett’s Point. I watched my cousin Amber ( she’s a retriever ), she can pull a buoy right out of the water. I teased my uncle’s ( they’re Shih Tzu’s ) at my Grandma’s house and I walked around our land in Hollywood. What a time I have been having! Went back to Atlanta packed up more stuff, well, I helped Mom pack, she always puts me on the bed so I can help. Then we came up here to the U.S. Space and Rocket Center here in Huntsville, Alabama. I really like it up here. The kids shoot off rockets, they kind of scared me at first, but then I realized how much fun it is to watch them, I just don’t get too close. Mom and I walk around a lot; I make lots of marks here too, just to make sure any dogs that visit know who I am! I really like to visit all the new people that come and stay at the RV Park with us. Daddy calls me the unofficial greeter. Sometimes Mom tells me I can’t go visit, this I don’t understand, I want to see everybody, every time, everywhere I go. I just want to make people HAPPY! I give everybody a great big smile and wave my fluffy tail like a flag.

Snow's Gone!

Whew, what a week, it's been 8 days since the snow came. There's still snow outside but most of the yard is clear and I can walk around now, what a relief! Aunt Cyndee and her entourage went home. Life is getting back to normal. So let me tell you more about my sister Margaret Lee ( Maggie )

I would chase her around the house, and then she would stop, opps! OK! She would chase ME around the house. This made Mom laugh all the time. She would tell Dad when he got home from work, he would tell us to be nice to each other, and then he would laugh and play with us, tell us how much he missed us during the day. He always puts me on the bed and wrestles with me when he comes home, of course Maggie would jump up and get in the mix too!

Our first Christmas, my Aunt Cyndee gave me a little frog, it was just my size and it squeaked too! Do you know what Maggie did? She got it and wouldn’t let me have it! Santa had given her a catnip mouse, that’s what Mom called it, I thought it smelled funny. Mom put the mouse in Maggie’s gift box, Mom gave Maggie a gift box with tissue paper in it for Christmas, she said Maggie loves to get in boxes with tissue paper. Well, Maggie came and got my frog. I got so upset and told Mom what she had done, with a lot of barking,  and I wanted my toy back! Mom went right under the tree and got the mouse, gave it to Maggie and got my frog back. I loved that little frog, but when Mom went back to the kitchen to fix breakfast, Maggie stole it again, that was the beginning of another chase around the house that made Mom and Dad laugh.

I have a secret

There's more story's about Maggie that I'll tell you later. If your wondering why I am telling you about Maggie in the past tense it's because Maggie went to heaven to be with my Grandma. Mom thought I should let you know. It was very confusing when she left, I missed her and kept looking for her under the bed but she wasn't there. I was sad and lonely for a long time. Mom said if we stay busy it would take our minds off our sadness soooo....

I told Mom I have a secret.
I told her I wanted to write a book.
She said we would start with a blog.
And here we are.
